Ingredients of Thai Iced Tea

  • 4 black tea bags
  • 2 star anise
  • 1 stick cinnamon
  • 2 tablespoon sugar
  • 4 tablespoon milk
  • 1 green cardamom
  • 4 cup water
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla essence
  • 1/4 teaspoon turmeric
  • 1/4 cup condensed milk
  • ice cubes as required

Step 1 Boil the tea

In a pot, add water, tea bags, cardamom, vanilla essence, star anise, cinnamon stick and turmeric. Boil the ingredients together on low heat for 5 minutes.

Step 2 Pour into glasses

In tall glasses, add some crushed ice and pour the tea over the ice through a strainer.

Step 3 Add milk mixture on top

In a bowl, whisk sugar, sweetened condensed milk and whole milk until smooth. Pour this milk mixture in glasses over the tea and give a gentle stir.

Step 4 Ready to be served

Your Thai Iced Tea is ready to be served.
